“7.5 months with my baby girl”, Bristol wrote to describe this picture, mentioning her child’s gender for the first time.
Palin shared the news in a caption on Instagram, alongside a new photo of her baby bump.
The famous daughter of former vice presidential hopeful Sarah Palin revealed that her forthcoming baby will be a girl through a pair of posts online – starting with a blog post about birth control.
Palin, 24, announced her pregnancy in June, shortly after breaking up with her ex-fiance Dakota Meyer. Bristol had taken everyone by surprise when she canceled the wedding just days before she was set to walk down the aisle and offered a very vague explanation. Still unwed, she admitted, “I understand this has been, and can be, an enormous disappointment to my loved ones, to my close buddies, and to a lot of you”.
“I know I’m the last to talk about birth control”.
Facing criticism, she blogged that her second child was “actually planned”.
But that didn’t stop Palin from sharing her updates on her pregnancy.

The previous “Dancing with the Stars” contestant, obviously, is already mother to Tripp, her son with ex-fiancee Levi Johnston.
