Passengers were forced to evacuate the plane after it landed in Montreal this morning.

Aviation website reports the flight, en route from London to Las Vegas, landed safety and the passengers have been taken off.

A British Airways flight that left Las Vegas last night headed for London has, instead, made an emergency landing in Montreal, Canada.

“They and everyone safe and calm!”

A Montreal Police spokesman said it was advised of an emergency aboard the plane before the pilot sought permission to divert the flight and land in Montreal. The airline assured that it will provide hotel rooms for the passengers and would rebook them on flights as soon as it could.

The Associated Press reported late Wednesday morning that Canadian police officials confirmed there was a bomb threat.

The plane was then searched by police using sniffer dogs.
