British astronaut dials wrong number from space
One can only think to oneself that somewhere on earth is a very annoyed or surprised woman who thought someone had played a practical joke on her. But just a reminder to the lady (whoever it is) that it really was a call from an astronaut from outer space. He explained that he called the lady by mistake.

The 43-year-old former army helicopter pilot did not say whom he was calling. A great number of people, including Prime Minister David Cameron, expressed their well-wished for him. He blasted off to the space station on December 15 with an American and a Russian. He and other crewmembers will perform a variety of scientific experiments for ESA, NASA and their worldwide partners.
He is sharing the space station with five other astronauts from Russian Federation and the United States. Astronauts Tim Kopra and Scott Kelly, from the USA space agency Nasa, went outside the ISS to fix a broken component. Last week, the British astronaut called home.
The ship flew over London at some point during Christmas Day. The three ended their video saying “Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and Happy New Year from the International Space Station” and did a backflip as they floated around.
Tim Peake’s blunder was not so serious as to be worthy of comment.
Peake’s time in the space station is being spent researching how the body reacts in space and trying out a tea-making process in zero gravity, according to The Associated Press. Yet such is the level of gentlemanly manners and social etiquette expected from astronauts that nothing is left to chance.
