(CNN) – Earth to astronaut Tim Peake: Check the phone number before you dial. Otherwise the person you reach is likely to think you’re some kind of nut case.

Tim Peake who arrived on the ISS on December 15 will be at the space station for six months to conduct scientific experiments. He is Britain’s first publicly funded astronaut and the first Briton to visit the space station, according to USA Today. Peake’s crewmates are NASA’s Scott Kelly and Tim Kopra and Russians Mikhail Kornienko, Yuri Malenchenko and Sergey Volkov.
