British Gran Killed By Shark ‘Bigger Than Boat’
Sixty-year-old Doreen Collyer tragically died from injuries sustained in the attack, which happened in waters about one kilometre from the shore of popular beach suburb Mindarie.

According to Mulligan, the three men, who were heading out to fish, came to the divers’ aid just when the woman’s companion retrieved her body from the water.
Although the cause of death is yet to be confirmed, the Western Australian government said the woman’s injuries were consistent with a shark attack.
Surfer Ben Gerring, 29, was mauled by a great white last Tuesday, 62 miles away in Mandurah, south of Perth.
Now there is a hunt on for the beast which attacked Mrs Collyer – who had moved from Chester in England with her husband to be closer to their grand-daughter.
A 14-foot-log shark was caught in the area of that attack on Wednesday, the Shark Smart site said.
“The man said that he felt something go past him and he turned around”, Inspector Danny Mulligan told reporters on Sunday.
Dr Neff dismissed the notion there were rogue sharks swimming in the ocean with a taste for humans, adding that killing a shark responsible for an attack did nothing to make the ocean safer.
Officials said that the woman, who has not been identified, was found injured in the water by beachgoers on Sunday morning.
The state trialled a controversial cull in 2014, in which authorities killed about 70 sharks.
Mr Barnett said people should have no doubt that the patrolled beaches were safe but it was impossible to protect all surf breaks or divers out in reefs.
The City of Wannero has closed beaches on either side of the Mindarie boat ramp, south from Claytons Beach and north to Quinns beach.
The story Woman diver killed at Mindarie by shark “as big as a boat” first appeared on WA Today.
Cappelluti said salmon were abundant in Falcon waters when Gerring was surfing, but there were no obvious shark attractants with the latest fatality.
The 4.2m-long shark, meanwhile, was trapped in baited drum lines and killed by the Western Australia fisheries department, according to reports.

If the injuries were inflicted by a shark it would be the second shark attack in the Perth area in a week.
