British PM David Cameron claims he still loves Larry the cat
However, one member of the household is sticking around.

The question of whether to Remain or Leave has also concerned Larry the Cat – who has been a familiar presence since he moved into the prime minister’s residence five years ago.
In earlier years, Larry’s role was filled by a cat named Humphrey, who the BBC reports wandered as a stray into the PM’s residence while it was occupied by Margaret Thatcher, as well as Gordon Brown’s black and white mouser named Sybil Fawlty.
He even has a Twitter account.
There were concerns that Larry could be homeless when the keys to 10 Downing Street, the prime minister’s office, are handed over to incoming Theresa May later Wednesday. Some wonder whether the outgoing leader will actually miss the feline.
“It give me the opportunity to put a rumor to rest as well. the rumor that I somehow don’t love Larry. I will miss the barbs of the opposition”, Cameron said, promising to watch future exchanges as a regular Conservative Party lawmaker on the back benches.
David Cameron tells #PMQs: The rumours aren’t true – I love Larry the cat.
Larry is a legend on Downing Street..
Larry was adopted from Battersea Dogs and Cats home to help scare mice and rats away from Downing Street. “It’s a civil servant’s cat and does not belong to the Camerons”.

Larry, too, has been forced to defend his turf, recently seen facing off with the Foreign Office cat, Palmerston.
