Daniel Craig, accompanied by the latest James Bond girls, looked dashing for the world premiere of “Spectre”, the latest movie installment of the world’s best known spy.

Bellucci said it was a “great joy” to be a part of the “incredible custom” of Bond movies.

“Monica [Bellucci] is 50 and I think it’s respectable to say she’s a Bond woman”, Harris said.

Other stars of the movie include Ralph Fiennes and Sherlock’s Andrew Scott, alongside returning Miss Moneypenny Naomie Harris and returning Q, Ben Whishaw.

Meanwhile, Daniel claimed recently that he reserves the right to change his mind about playing Bond again, after saying he’d rather “slash” his wrists than return to the role.

Daniel Craig teamed up with Sam Mendes for the 24 film in the James Bond series.

The director, Sam Mendes, said he hoped the film struck a balance between tradition and innovation: “In this film we went a bit more old school glamour and flamboyance, bit more wit and mischief but at the same time we wanted to make it feel contemporary”.

Craig told host Rick Edwards, “It’s just fantastic to see everybody out tonight”. He didn’t disappoint them.

The character was named after ornithologist Dr James Bond, who wrote a birdwatching book Ian was reading when he created his superspy in 1952. “When someone like that wants to be a Bond girl, you just count yourself lucky!”

For the first time, the new Bond film is opening in cinemas throughout the United Kingdom on the same day as the premiere.

Christoph Waltz plays the new villain Oberhauser.

Since its inception in 1946 the Royal Film Performance has raised money for the Cinema and Television Benevolent Fund and Spectre is the third Bond film chosen for the annual event. It follows previous premieres for Die Another Day (2002) and Skyfall (2012).
