Britney Spears Has ‘No Recollection’ of Her First VMAs Performance
But despite suffering an online backlash, Britney Spears looked nonplussed as she stepped out for refreshments in New York City on Monday afternoon. This was especially disappointing since I love her new album Glory, and I’m a huge Britney fan as well.

I was just hoping for the iconic Britney performance that I know that she has in her.
“It was so great meeting you last night, @BebeRexha!” she wrote. While the two are often used interchangeably, they are subtly different in many ways.
Her long-awaited comeback went off without any major fails as she joined rapper G-Eazy to sing her new single “Make Me”. From her opening performance of “Work Bitch” to her closing performance of “Till the World Ends”, everything about the show is well done and more than entertaining.
The singer, 34, showed off her increasingly lithe physique in a thigh-skimming semi-sheer dress while purchasing an ice-cream cone from a local vendor.
“I think the whole setup was a classroom, and my four main dancers were in the front at their desk and I came out of my locker”, she continued, trying to recall her 1999 debut to the MTV ceremony. This is not only the show’s blessing, but its curse as well.
“Why is she even bothering to wear a microphone?” joked one woman on Twitter.
Whether she danced as a baby-faced pop singer, or seduced the audience while carrying a snake, or even locked lips with Madonna, it’s hard to forget a Britney show. Using her prerecorded vocals doesn’t take away from the show, and their use actually adds to the show’s value by giving Spears free reign to truly perform.
