Britney Spears will be next to hitch a ride with Corden as she takes on the highly entertaining musical skit for The Late Late Show.

So we weren’t surprised to hear that the newest guest to be announced for the show is the iconic Britney Spears.
That’s set to change soon, with Spears headed to Corden’s Late Late Show on August 25, CBS announced Wednesday at the TCAs. Britney Spears is scheduled to join James Corden as a passenger on his fan-favorite Carpool Karaoke segment later this month.
We can’t wait to see it!
Spears’ “Carpool Karaoke” segment comes the day before her new album, Glory, drops on August 26. The special event is scheduled to air on Thursday, Aug. 25 on CBS. A multi-platinum Grammy Award victor, Spears is one of the most successful entertainers in pop history, with almost 100 million records sold worldwide.
Spears has had six No. 1-debuting albums on the Billboard 200 chart and 24 top 40 hit singles on the Billboard Hot 100 – five of which went to No. 1.
Spears has a residency at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, performing several weeks a year in “Britney: Piece of Me”.

Corden was recently nominated for an Emmy award for best variety talk show, among others.
