“It was the hardest decision for me to make”.

He said a conversation with Vince McMahon, the head of the WWE where Lesnar will return after UFC 200 to perform in, led to everything coming together.

Embedded above is a video of the UFC On FOX crew, which consists of Jay Glazer, Kenny Florian, Tyron Woodley and Aljamain Sterling, talking about Brock Lesnar’s upcoming return to the fight world. Following this milestone event on July 9, Brock will return to WWE forSummerSlam on Sunday, August 21, live on WWE Network.

Lesnar announced his UFC 200 opponent during an appearance on SportsCenter on Monday morning. Do you think he can reclaim the UFC Heavyweight Championship once again? Lesnar retired from UFC in 2011 due to complications from the intestinal disease diverticulitis.

Brock Lesnar was last seen in the octagon getting beat like a redheaded stepchild by Alistair Overeem who sent him back to the WWE. “That decision has haunted me for the past 15 months”. Helwani also said that Lesnar’s opponent is not close to being finalized, but that might not be accurate.

When Lesnar announced that Mark Hunt would take him on, he noted that he’s never turned down a fight in the UFC.

Most recently, Hunt has dispatched former heavyweight champion Frank Mir and former title contender Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva in back-to-back contests.

Lesnar reportedly got an addition to his WWE contract around the time of Wrestlemania 32 that would allow for such a fight to take place. Along with John Cena, he’s WWE’s biggest star, and he’s headlined SummerSlam in each of the last two years, facing Cena in 2014 and The Undertaker in 2015.
