Brock Lesnar Failed Late June Drug Test Prior To UFC 200
Lesnar’s test was returned to him by USADA (United States Anti-Doping Agency) on July 14, before being passed onto the UFC on Friday following the positive test results.

Oh no! Brock Lesnar, 39, has been riding high after making his successful comeback to the UFC after a five-year absence, but now he’s the subject of a doping investigation.
Hunt then recanted that request and said on Twitter that he believed cheaters didn’t deserve anything and he wanted Lesnar’s entire purse from UFC 200. The anti-doping violation stems from an out-of-competition drug test that was administered on June 28.
Lesnar was the first retired athlete to receive an exemption from UFC to skip the mandatory four-month drug testing window ahead of his fight. The substance was not identified by USADA, and Lesnar has the right to appeal and/or ask for the “B” sample to be tested.
Lesnar issued a very brief statement on Friday evening to the Associated Press.
Lesnar hasn’t yet revealed what banned substance was flagged from his sample.
Lesnar, the next day, called Jones’ positive test result “unprofessional”, and joked, “Happy birthday to me”, about the main-event status that hours later was instead given to the women’s bantamweight championship fight between new champion Amanda Nunes and Miesha Tate. According to the UFC, returning athletes must be tested over a four-month period and while the promotion waived this requirement for Lesnar, he still submitted eight tests to USADA. He defeated Mark Hunt by unanimous decision.
“If you don’t give me half of his (expletive), I’m walking away from this company”, said Hunt in an interview with FOX Sports Radio 500.
“I can also confirm that the results from his previous samples collected by USADA were all reported as negative”.

Lesnar is scheduled to wrestle for the WWE at the SummerSlam card on August 21 in Brooklyn, New York and it is not known how this will affect his status for this show.
