Brock Lesnar Flagged for Possible USADA Violation
According to the USADA website, Lesnar was tested eight times from the time his fight for UFC 200 was announced and this past weekend’s card.

Lesnar, 39, returned to the Octagon for the first time since December 2011 to defeat Mark Hunt via decision.
The promotion has, this evening, been informed that Brock Lesnar – their co-main event star – has been flagged for an out-of-competition anti-doping violation.
Though he had few words, former UFC heavyweight champion and current WWE Superstar Brock Lesnar on Friday issued a statement on his recent flagging for a potential anti-doping violation.
The potential violation resulted from an out-of-competition drug test administered by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency on June 28. He could also be facing a two-year suspension from USADA and whatever punishment the Nevada State Athletic Commission decides to impose since the fight took place in their state.
ESPN reporter, Brett Okamoto, took to Twitter to confirm that the infringement was from a June 28 test.
Much like Jon Jones’ situation, USADA won’t reveal the substance Lesnar tested positive for unless his camp reveals it on their own first. Lesnar was exempted by virtue of the UFC’s anti-doping policy that can be invoked in extenuating circumstances.
We will continue to provide updates on the Brock Lesnar doping allegations, and how they could potentially impact SummerSlam, as details emerge.
This makes Lesnar look bad and it’ll be interesting to see if WWE has any reaction.
It is not yet known what Lesnar’s potential violation will mean for the result of their fight.
WWE, which gave Lesnar permission to fight at UFC 200, has its own PED testing policy as part of its wellness program.
Hunt has asked UFC officials for half of Lesnar’s reported $US2.5 million ($NZ3.51 million) purse, or else he would like to be released from his contract immediately, MMA Fighting said. That potential violation could end up costing Lesnar more than just embarrassment within the sports world.
