Roman Reigns is destined to once again be in the main event of WrestleMania.
RAW began with the Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose daring Brock Lesnar to hit him with another F-5. And while the event’s undercard certainly leaves something to be desired, Fastlane will answer the key question: Who will main event WrestleMania 32?
Sasha Banks def. Tamina (with Naomi) by submission to the Bank Statement. He will not bow down to Brock Lesnar and he would turn on his brother in arms in Roman Reigns. After the match, team BAD attacked Banks until Becky Lynch made the save. The victor of the bout will go onto WrestleMania 32 on April 3 to face Triple H for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Banks defeated Tamina on Thursday night, but wasn’t a fan of having Becky come out to help her when Tamina and Naomi attacked her after the match.
WWE Fastlane will take place on Sunday at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. Even with interference from Xavier and Kofi it seemed as though Big E was going to struggle but a trip into the turnbuckle would prove to be the turning point in the match and Big E missed the Big Ending but still came out on top. They’re both up top, but Jericho gets a two on a cross body press, then the triangle dropkick.
WWE Fastlane kicks off this Sunday at a time that is too damn early when you realise how much of a timezone gap there is between the United States of A and the RS of A. That said, they may have been saving something for the expected rematch.
With this year’s Royal Rumble victor (Triple H) earning the world title rather than just a chance at the belt, WWE needed to figure out another way to decide a No. 1 contender and came up with this.
A divas championship match-up between champion Charlotte and Brie Bella is also going to be part of this event. Reigns wins, Ambrose is miffed and Rollins is waiting in the wings.
Unfortunately Ambrose’s role is to take the pin, but the hope is WWE have something good in mind for him for WrestleMania as he deserves a starring role, even if it is not in the main event. The Game and his wife Stephanie McMahon will be watching to see who challenges their Authority at WrestleMania.
“WWE Fastlane” airs on the WWE Network on Sunday, February 22nd at 8/7c. While chaos reigned after Lesnar’s interference tonight, Reigns accidentally hit a spear on Ambrose which caused him to retaliate by trying to hit Dirty Deeds.
Jericho calls out Styles, and out comes the Miz, who tells Jericho to save hsi decision because they have a match next.

Talking of Wyatt, his family will be involved in a 6-man tag team match against Big Show, Kane and Ryback at Fastlane, which seems like a way of making The Wyatt Family look strong before they go into battle with Lesnar and his advocate Paul Heyman. But Lesnar probably won’t be heading towards a main event match at WrestleMania.
