Manning does have a relatively severe foot injury he’s been playing with and we’re unsure of whether or not that is part of the reason his play has been so poor so far this year.

For the first time since most of the players on the Broncos current roster arrived in Denver, Peyton Manning won’t be starting at quarterback in a regular season game this weekend. Other than that shining moment, this game was one to quickly forget.
Manning was putrid all day long. Osweiler gets the opportunity to show he is ready to take over the offense and a strong performance will place pressure on coach Gary Kubiak.

Give Osweiler two games, then reassess. “We know that we need to get a win and that’s what are sole and primary focus is on this week”. Fangio’s scouting report summed Osweiler up: “He’s got a big arm, he’s athletic… he’ll scramble much more than Peyton would”.
If Osweiler can play better than Manning who has been averaging. All that said, Del needs to bounce back in a huge way. Maye me like many others is jumping the gun.
