Broncos: 1 Darius Boyd, 2 Corey Oates, 3 Thomas Opacic, 4 James Roberts, 5 Jordan Kahu, 6 Anthony Milford, 7 Ben Hunt, 8 Josh McGuire, 9 Andrew McCullough, 10 Adam Blair, 11 Sam Thaiday, 12 Matthew Gillett, 13 Lock Corey Parker.
It’s poised to be a tantalising clash to kick off NRL round 24.
Witnesses claim Roberts was “in a mess” when he was spotted at the hotel drinking heavily and was placed in a choke hold by security guards, according to The Daily Telegraph. It’s claimed that he regained consciousness in an ambulance but refused call it a night and then proceeded to another pub.
Roberts is one of the most electrifying players in the game and earned Dally M centre of the year honours after a breakout 2015 season with the Gold Coast.
Roberts has a history of off-field indiscretions, having been sacked by Penrith and South Sydney over behaviour-related issues. Brisbane won out, although his erratic performances on and off the field have again jeopardised a promising career.
‘But, as per protocol, the club passed the matter on to the integrity unit and will now work with them to ascertain the facts’.

In a statement, Broncos chief executive Paul White said the club became aware of “a rumour” involving a player on Tuesday, and confirmed it had been referred to the integrity unit.
