Broncos beat Panthers 24-10 to win Super Bowl 50

It seems odd that Newton, who uses his body as a weapon more than any quarterback in the National Football League, would shy away from contact at such a pivotal moment.

T.J. Ward #43 of the Denver Broncos reacts after a play against the Carolina Panthers during Super Bowl 50 at Levi’s Stadium on February 7, 2016 in Santa Clara, California.

Manning finished 13 for 23 for 141 yards against a strong Carolina defense that just couldn’t match Miller and company.

Moving ahead to the official odds and lines for the game, and the Panthers are favorites by 6 points over the Broncos.

SUPERMAN: Newton threw for 335 yards and two TDs, and he ran for 47 yards and a pair of scores, leading Carolina past the Arizona Cardinals 49-15 in the NFC title game.

Harris must be overlooking the fact that the Broncos were favored in 12 of their 16 regular-season games and one of their two playoff games when he says his team has been “underdogs all year”, but we’ll let it slide.

“It’s been a good week, ” said Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak told a pool reporter in Stanford on Friday.

“He’s not only beating people with his arm, but with his feet and his ability to move around”. Its offensive line is solid and Newton will pose a much more elusive threat than the immobile Brady. They’ve given him a lot of freedom. The big key with this player is being able to bracket him properly to make sure he doesn’t go wild.

“I know he is very special”, said Rivera, who was defensive coordinator of a Chicago Bears team that lost to Manning’s Indianapolis Colts in the Super Bowl nine years ago.

Cam Newton started running, Aqib Talib started racking up penalties and the Panthers got on the board with a Jonathan Stewart touchdown run.

“I don’t think it’s going to be (immediate) announcement Sunday night”, Eli Manning said. There’s a reason the Broncos have the best defense in the NFL. As long as the defense can continue that trend, they should be in good hands. They can’t turn the ball over. It’s also a huge matchup for that talented, outstanding Broncos defense, facing a red-hot offense averaging over 30 points per game in the playoffs. If the Denver Broncos’ secondary can continue their great pass coverage, it will force Cam Newton to hang on to the ball for a second longer and allow the great Denver pass rush to get to the Quarterback.

The Denver Broncos are your newly crowned Super Bowl Champions! I envision something more like 38-10, but it’d be fun to see Madden nail their prediction yet again.

“Darn right, we brought it”, he said.
