What are your thoughts on Brandon Marshall standing with Colin Kaepernick by not standing for the National Anthem during the NFL opener on Thursday night.

Friday afternoon, Air Academy Federal Credit Union said it was ending its relationship with Marshall.

AAFCU President and CEO Glenn Strebe noted Marshall’s right to express himself in their official statement but felt the move needed to be made.

Pagano’s point is that, while he has great respect for the armed forces and military members around the world, he also recognizes that those people are fighting to preserve the freedom we have in America. “While we respect Brandon’s right pf expression, his actions are not a representation of our organization and membership. We wish Brandon well on his future endeavors”.

Following Thursday night’s thrilling 21-20 win against the North Carolina Panthers, Marshall spoke out on his decision to kneel in protest of social injustice. “So when we have an opinion and we speak it, I feel like a lot of people bash us for what we have to say”. I feel good about it. “So I definitely want to stand by him”, Marshall said. “One specifically is police brutality, there’s people being murdered unjustly and not being held accountable”, Kaepernick stated in a post preseason game interview. We’re educated individuals who went to college. “I feel like this is our only platform to be heard”, Marshall said. “A lot of people won’t agree with me, but I feel like it’s a handsome thing”.

The National Women’s Soccer League’s Washington Spirit played the U.S. anthem before Seattle’s Rapinoe and other players took the field on Wednesday to avoid giving her another chance to kneel.

“Absolutely, they’re worth the consequences”, Marshall said.
