Broncos offense says it will be stronger this season

Former Panthers cornerback Josh Norman, now with the Redskins, started a brief feud with Demaryius Thomas when he said in an ESPN interview released Tuesday that “I shut him down” in reference to his Super Bowl 50 defense of Thomas.

An afterthought while taking just one snap – a kneel-down – as a rookie last season, Siemian has emerged as the best option to lead the team with Manning on the links and Brock Osweiler in Houston. Denver netted 5,688 yards, its lowest total since 2011. Running back C.J. Anderson praised Siemian’s command of the huddle, explaining “nothing rattles him”.

As the first half was coming to a close, we did get to see Siemian drive down the field and have it end with a touchdown pass to Virgil Green. “We want to do our part on this team”. And start with the turnovers – they’ve had five on offense in two games.

The Rams, 2-1 in preseason with one game remaining, led late in the first half, when most of the starters were still in the game, but the Broncos took the lead for good on a field goal late in the second quarter. Manning was the clear No. 1 until injuries compromised his play a year ago.

That’s what you should have your eye on tonight on the offensive side: the amount of time Siemian spends on the field. That inexperience hasn’t anxious the rest of the offense. “I haven’t made a decision [on who’s going second]”.

Hillman led the Broncos in rushing previous year with 863 yards but Anderson was the main back in the postseason. “He earned my respect as a rookie”. “So, I’m going to keep going and i’m going to keep doing with I’ve been doing”, Lynch said. Since the likes of Tom Brady, Russell Wilson and Cam Newton seems to be in control of their team, it appears that only one football squad is in dire need of the services of Michael Vick: the Denver Broncos.

“He just couldn’t throw, ” Kubiak said following practice. “It’s just fantastic where we’re at right now. I’m telling the truth”. Transitioning from the spread to Gary Kubiak’s system would be no easy feat, but a necessary one. He has completed 17 of 26 passes for 163 yards with no sacks.

On the ensuing drive, Siemian quickly got to work, finding Thomas on the left sideline for a 10-yard completion and then Sanders on the right for 17 yards. He acknowledged that while he feels great, he needs to get up to game speed. “I think he’s very calm”. Now the LA Rams look to solve their own quarterback situation.

“I’m looking at what’s taken place the last six months”, Kubiak said”. “How they’ve handled themselves, how they’ve handled the team and how they respond to things”.
