After the Broncos’ 20-18 win over the Patriots in the AFC Championship Game, an NFL Films microphone captured Manning telling New England head coach Bill Belichick that this season might be his “last rodeo”.

“He has not said anything to me about it”, Eli Manning said Wednesday to Steve Serby of the New York Post.
“Be careful with these labels”, Manning said with a smile.
The Carolina Panthers are in Super Bowl 50 and they couldn’t be anymore happy it makes ideal sense for them to wear black knowing that they have usually handed the opposing team an L while competing in the all-black this season.

“Not at all. We’re assuming”, Thomas said. For me to come in at the end here, is just kind of an out-of-the-ordinary event. “I don’t know if he knows himself or he’s thought about it”. You see a fast, physical football team that has created a lot of negative plays for (opposing) offenses.
“Back when I was playing, there was none of those things (protocols) in place”, he said. It’s you and that one man. You gonna live or not?
Given that Manning is arguably the most cerebral quarterback to ever play the position, his knowledge of the game’s nuances pre-snap will aid him in pulling off the Super Bowl upset of the Panthers.
