ENGLEWOOD, Colo. – The Denver Broncos released kicker Connor Barth on Wednesday to make room for newly signed guard Evan Mathis.

Barth was signed for the final five weeks of the regular season in 2014 after McManus was inconsistent as suspended Matt Prater’s replacement.

Connor’s release means Brandon McManus has won the Broncos’ kicking and kickoff jobs. He twice tied the team record with five field goals in a single game. Two days later, McManus was waived and Barth was hired.

McManus is now the only kicker listed on the Broncos roster.

Connor Barth of the Broncos kicks a 45-yard field goal against the Indianapolis Colts in the second quarter during a 2015 AFC Divisional playoff game at Sports Authority Field at Mile High on January 11, 2015.

Barth converted 15-of-16 (.938) field goal attempts and all 15 PATs for the club.
