Broncos return blocked PAT for dramatic win over Saints
The New Orleans Saints are hosting the Denver Broncos in NFL Football action on Sunday afternoon. They committed four turnovers that resulted in 13 points for the visiting team, not to mention a blocked PAT returned for two points that uiltimately spelled their own demise. This is the first time the two teams have met since 2012 and we’ve got your way to watch the game via live stream! Justin Simmons timed the snap perfectly and hurdled right over the center. Simmons said the Broncos worked on the play, called “Leaper”, all week.

Will Parks returned a blocked extra-point attempt for two points after the Saints had tied the game at 23-23 with a Brandin Cooks touchdown catch.
At first glance, it appeared Parks stepped out of bounds in front of the New Orleans bench.
“I’m still in disbelief a little bit”. The offense opened with a punt after their first five plays, and then Drew Brees had two interceptions on back-to-back drives. And the Saints can score, putting up 30 plus points per game, second in the NFL. The news following the Raiders game that Derek Wolfe would miss 2-4 weeks with a fractured elbow didn’t help.
Former Arizona safety Will Parks is an easy guy to root for – before leaving Tucson after last season, he gathered up several bags of his clothes and personally delivered them to needy people around town – so it was great to see him make a name for himself Sunday. And to get a week off feels a heck of a lot better when you get a win. “It’s a disgusting way to lose the game”.
Broncos Pro Bowl wide-outs Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders eyeing up New Orleans’ beleaguered and patchwork secondary that just got starting #1 CB Delvin Breaux back from a season-opening Week #1 leg injury.
Darian Stewart had three turnovers record, two interceptions and one fumble recovery. It put the Saints (4-5), who won four of their previous five games, in position to climb above.500 for the first time this season following an 0-3 start. It was not to be. “That’ll make me sleep better tonight”. That said, Siemian converted on the next play with a quarterback sneak. Siemain drilled a third-down completion to Norwood to set up first and 10 at the 29 as the clock ticked inside 6 minutes. Stewart intercepted Brees twice – joining the now injured Aqib Talib as the only Broncos with multiple interceptions in one game.
Defying the oddsmakers that made them a 3-point underdog, the Broncos led the New Orleans Saints, 10-3 at halftime here at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
The Broncos stroll in with the top-ranked passing defense in the league, yielding just 183 yards per game though they have some injuries going on back there. This win over the Saints showed us that the Broncos can win in a dome like Houston or even on the road outdoors in Arrowhead, Oakland, and maybe even Foxborough. He was sacked six times, but more importantly took 11 hits, a baffling stat.
To be fair, Denver has been hella banged up on defense. Shaq Barrett came through with the Broncos’ first sack on Brees.
