A source said they left behind the flower at the scene of the crime.

The Bronx father according to a report via the nytimes has since been charged with second-degree murder, manslaughter and manslaughter of a person less than 11 years old.

When the dad couldn’t get the boy to stop crying, he first pressed a pillow to the baby’s face, cops said.

He is then alleged to have threaten to kill the baby’s mother if she reported him to the police.

The couple may have stayed at Heidi’s Inn on Route 22 in Southeast.

Video from a surveillance camera outside the couple’s building later that night shows Feliciano driving off with what investigators believe is the baby’s body in the trunk, said the super, who talked to police.

Their efforts to cover up their frightful deed began to unravel when the guilt-stricken mother attempted suicide Thursday by overdosing on pills.

When New York police learned of the story, they traveled to Brewster where after a two-day search found the child’s body on Saturday. The boy’s mother, a patient at the hospital, allegedly told staff that her son had died on December 10 inside of his Bogart Avenue home. She said she was not aware of any arrests. That’s awful. I couldn’t imagine what she’s going through.
