The Dolphins and the Browns are looking for their first win, only one will get it today. It was a long field goal attempt for Cody Parkey, who was just signed by the Browns on Saturday, and it went wide left, sending the game to overtime.
The Browns are trying to avoid a 0-3 start Sunday against the Dolphins, but know they are likely in rebuilding mode, particularly after acquiring multiple draft picks through trades during the offseason and lead up to the regular season. The second half was much better for Tannehill and he was a key reason that the Dolphins came from behind. But Cleveland backpedaled to a fourth-and-24 before punting, giving the Dolphins a short field that led to the winning score.

Kessler Tough Start, but Rebounds: Rookie QB Cody Kessler’s National Football League debut started with a thud.
Miami got on the scoreboard first when Ryan Tannehill found DeVante Parker over the middle for a 26-yard scoring pass with 10:16 left in the first quarter.
Kessler completed 21 of 33 passes for 244 yards, after a week where the rookie immersed himself in the playbook.
Miami fell behind 24-0 to the Patriots and trailed 31-3 midway through the third quarter but pulled to within 31-24 with six minutes to go.
“I’m always happy to get a win, first and foremost”, said quarterback Ryan Tannehill, who was 25 of 39 for 319 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions.
While the Browns saw an 18-point lead evaporate last week, the Dolphins almost crawled back from a 28-point deficit in the second half before dropping a 31-24 decision to New England.
Leading 13-10 and with a chance to put additional points on the board before halftime, the Browns drove to a first down at the Miami 20-yard line with 1:10 remaining on the clock.
Miami surged back in front the second half after two Tannehill touchdown passes to Jarvis Landry and Damien Williams of 42 yards and 10 yards respectively. Instead it was Browns corner Briean Boddy-Calhoun, who most fans had no idea was even on the team before the game. Rather than possibly getting a touchdown, the Browns settled for a 48-yard field goal by Parkey. And even after they return home on October 9 to host New England in Brady’s return from his “Deflategate” suspension, the Browns will play their next two games on the road, giving them five in the first seven weeks.
With Miami’s defense struggling from the start, and the offense putting together several three-and-out drives, it was a recipe for disaster against New England. But Wake was flagged for an offside penalty. WR Terrelle Pryor could take some snaps at QB to keep Dolphins off-balance.

Offensively, the Browns are averaging 15.0 points and 337.5 total yards (205.0 passing and 132.5 rushing yards) per game.
