John Greco moved over from right guard to play center when Erving left Sunday’s game; the Browns don’t have another experienced center on the roster.

The Cleveland Plain Dealer reported that Erving was immobilized on a stretcher in the locker room before being hurried into an ambulance. Trainers attended to him, and he walked to the bench. He is in stable condition and is undergoing further testing at University Hospitals.

Greco, who is in his ninth National Football League season, last started a game at center in 2014.

Now it appears Erving is dealing with a scary situation with his lungs. The Browns said they would provide updates on Erving’s condition as appropriate.
