Browns go full Browns when new kicker misses game-winning field goal
Running back Jay Ajayi admitted there was a feeling of redemption after he scored the game-winning touchdown in the Dolphins’ 30-24 overtime victory against the Cleveland Browns at Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday. After the offense sputtered under that play calling for most of the first quarter, Jackson finally gave Cody Kessler a chance to be the full-time starter under center.

That’s the kind of disgusting tragedy that can affect the psyche of an entire city and even though the Dolphins unveiled the newly renovated and named Hard Rock Stadium, what should have been a party was tempered by the soul-crushing news that Fernandez was indeed one of three people killed in the crash off Miami Beach.
GARDENS-It took the Dolphins a long time to finally bury Cleveland today, but they got there. – Terrelle Pryor to convert. When linebacker Corey Lemonier shot through and sacked Tannehill, stripped the ball and fell on it at the Miami 29 with just 22 seconds left, Cleveland was primed for its first win of the season after an 0-2 start. Kessler finished with a rating of 85.9 in his debut with 21-of-33 for 244 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions. The defense did make a big initial stop to force the Dolphins to punt on its first series. Even when it seemed like Ryan Tannehill and the coaching staff was determined to let this one slip away, Landry wasn’t having it.
He’ll have to hustle – Miami plays again Thursday at Cincinnati (1-2).
Browns wide receiver (and part-time quarterback) Terrelle Pryor apparently missed the memo that the Browns aren’t a top-flight National Football League team, though, as he issued this noteworthy quote after Cleveland’s third consecutive loss.
Cody Parkey, who was signed Saturday after Patrick Murray was hurt the day before in practice, missed three field goals for Cleveland, including a 46-yarder as time expired in regulation. Terrelle Pryor had a huge day for the Browns, contributing in every facet of the offense and almost spurring the team to victory.
The Browns recovered and took a knee to run down the clock for Parkey’s game-winning field goal.
Jackson said he made the coin-toss decision after some consideration. He was asked how it felt to get his first win.
Cleveland took possession with 6:17 remaining at its own 6-yard line. This past week, he said he’d cut off a digit if it helped the team win. Most thought the latter had cost Miami the game. He had another sack and forced fumble that was called back on an offsides penalty.

A head injury is particularly alarming with Cameron, who suffered three concussions in less than two years while a member of the Cleveland Browns.
