Browns not trading Gordon

Now the Browns look to turn to corner along with weapons such as wide receiver John Gordon. The Browns traded the 223rd pick of the 2016 draft to Miami for Taylor and the 250th pick (linebacker Scooby Wright III).

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the team is not looking to trade off Brown and is more interested in developing an environment in which the player could thrive. “I’m not anxious”, Harrison said.

While the Browns got out to a fast start, they were unable to find their footing and fell into a 17-point deficit at halftime.

Gordon was suspended the first 10 games of the 2014 season for a positive marijuana test and all of 2015 for drinking alcohol on a plane after the 2014 season ended.

The Browns now own Philadelphia’s 2017 first-round pick, Tennessee’s 2017 second-round pick, New England’s 2017 fifth-round pick, Indianapolis’ 2017 seventh-round pick and Philadelphia’s 2018 second-round pick.

The clock is ticking for Jackson and his coaching staff to fix the Browns, who have dropped all three exhibitions heading into Thursday’s finale at home against Chicago.

Needless to say, Cleveland’s reported price tag is exorbitantly high, considering these issues.

“We see Josh as a great weapon for our offense”.

Gordon led the National Football League with 1,646 receiving yards but has missed 27 of his last 32 National Football League games due to violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy.

Gordon and Pryor bonded last summer while training together at the Randy Moss Academy in Charlotte, North Carolina. The receiver will serve a four-game suspension to begin the regular season.

He said that he loves working with Jimmy Haslam, the coaches, his teammates as well the the entire city. Gordon was only targeted twice and finished with 87 yards receiving, both his catches coming when he beat cornerback Brent Grimes, one of Tampa Bay’s key offseason acquisitions. But he has been unable to stay eligible or duplicate those numbers. Can he avoid suspension and injury for the rest of the season? When you consider what the Browns reportedly want in return, it’s likely Gordon will be granted his wish to remain with the organization that picked him in the second round of the 2012 NFL Supplemental Draft.

That seems just fine with the Browns. “The hotter the better because that’s the way it is going to be as we start during the (regular) season against Miami”.
