The Browns are already on their third quarterback of the season following injuries to Robert Griffin III and Josh McCown.

Kessler, a third-round pick in the 2016 draft, is set to become the 26th quarterback to start for Cleveland since the 1999 campaign, per Cabot. He spent last season with Tennessee and Indianapolis.

Losing coaches have to be leery of London games because bye weeks necessarily come on the heels of those, making it the most opportune time to make a coaching change.

In 2015, while splitting time with the Titans (12 games) and Colts (six), the journeyman completed 16-of-32 pass attempts for 150 yards, no touchdowns, and one interception, including playing against the Browns.

During his usual Monday press conference September 19, Harbaugh said no serious injuries came out of the win at Cleveland, despite the fact that it was a “very physical game”.

In the meantime, they’ll happily accept being unbeaten after two games, especially after rallying from a 20-point deficit Sunday to beat Cleveland 25-20 on the road. “Obviously, Cody has to be the guy, but we are also going to keep searching around and making sure that we cross every T and dot every I and see if there is somebody else out there that can help our football team”. “I have the mindset to go in as the starter”.

Despite having a quarterback dealing with a shoulder injury, the Browns would only rush for 40 more yards the rest of the game. He wanted us to go out there and win. Well, he’s going to have to figure it out on the fly against Miami in Week 3, and likely after that as well, based on word surrounding McCown’s status. We just need to find a way down the stretch to get off of the field.

“It’s just not wanting to not be out there with your guys, ” McCown said Sunday, via Cleveland.com.

McCown’s injury could make Cleveland’s rebuilding project even tougher.

“I’m getting closer and closer, but the most important thing is we are 2-0”, Suggs said. Nassib will undergo surgery, but Jackson said it’s possible the former Penn State standout may be able to play in the future with a protective cast.
