Browns welcome week in Florida heat with Buccaneers
Still, Gordon looked strong on Tuesday. The Buccaneers practice in the morning and with good reason. “I really liked it. But I thought it was a good start for him”. I felt great. I felt fine. “We’re doing some things well, but there is still tremendous room for improvement just in the run game, in the pass game and creating turnovers and getting after the quarterback in the red zone, in short-yard situations, just tremendous room for us to get better, which is good”.

Teams might be calling the Browns about trading for Josh Gordon.
“I really can’t comment on that”. “I’m not really sure”.
“I like Jamar’s game”, Haden told cleveland.com. “That is where I want to be and everything like that”. I’m not for sure how much we want to do it in preseason.
Of course, because Gordon has been a part of plenty of off-field drama, some are speculating that the Browns would want to get rid of him while his stock is high. “Mr. (Jimmy) Haslam, the organization and (Head) Coach (Hue) Jackson, I think the world of those guys and their decisions and this organization”. I expect to move forward with that, and I’m excited about it. “I’m working the kinks out here at practice and back at home in Cleveland as much as possible to get ready for it”.
If Gordon stays, the Browns could throw out three tall receivers (Gordon, Pryor and Barnidge are all 6-foot-3 or taller) but add in the 5-foot-11 Coleman and there are at least three speedsters in the unit as well.
“We are going to meet with them, obviously, but I’m also going to give them a chance to be around each other a little bit more in a different setting”, he said. “We’re all going to battle”.
“He still looks the exact same and it’s just insane”. “The main thing is that for the guys that are here, they embrace the change and get behind it”. Corey is coming back. You’re going to see it right after that Tuesday-Wednesday practice.
“He is a talented player as we all know, but he has just got to keep taking the next step”, Jackson said.
Even Jackson had to acknowledge the advantages his team could have with the full complement of receivers at his disposal.
Ryan Grigson and the Indianapolis Colts should be one of the first teams on the phone with the Browns.
“They’re family”, he said. I come up with all these insane dreams and I’ll put these guys all over the place. “On offense, we have to prevent them”.
And wouldn’t you know it, it looked like the two were in Waco again as Griffin found Gordon for a leaping 43-yard touchdown.
The Buccaneers didn’t punt until late in the second quarter, as they piled up big gains through the air and carried the load while the Doug Martin-led running attack took a backseat to the action.
