Brussels airport closed, evacuated following fatal explosions
At least 28 are confirmed dead after two terror attacks in Brussels this morning, many more were injured.

Europeans authorities have tightened security at airports and on city streets after deadly attacks on the Brussels airport and its subway system.
“I saw at least six people severely injured, including children”.
He said he’s seen about 19 or 20 stretchers carrying people so far. Belgian police had been on alert for any reprisal action, but the attacks took place in crowded public areas where people and bags are not searched.
The Brussels airport, which was originally built in 1944 and has three runways, said there were two explosions at the building and everyone was asked to leave.
Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel said on his twitter feed: “We are following the situation minute by minute”. Tuesday’s terror attacks in Belgium occurred at Brussel’s worldwide airport and a city metro station, forcing the city to increase its terror threat to the highest level.
Hernandez said there are no direct flights from LAX to Brussels.
Two men wearing dark tops are suspected of carrying out the attacks at the airport, reports say.
The London International Airport posted a message of condolence on their Facebook page Tuesday morning, offering their thoughts and prayers.
Brussels airport said it had canceled all flights and the complex had been evacuated and trains to the airport had been stopped. The U.S. Embassy in Brussels and the European Union have told staff to stay inside. The agency that runs the train service said that the entire Metro service was being suspended.
Social media users uploaded photographs of smoke rising from the departure hall, where windows were shattered in the blast. The fear now is that arrest could trigger more attacks.

RT reports that the Austrian foreign minister Sebastian Kurz is shocked by the terror acts in Brussels, and ordered a hotline be opened for Austrian citizens visiting Belgium.
