The prosecutor’s office, without giving details, said an analysis of phone records led to Sunday’s search.
She died in the police sige in the Paris suburb of Saint Denis. Officials said they had not announced the arrest right away to avoid tipping off possible accomplices. The 30-year-old Belgian allegedly communicated with the cousin of the lead planner of the attacks.
Abdelslam 26 year old is being searched worldwide.
The suicide bombings and mass shootings on 13 November were France’s deadliest-ever attacks, and the Belgian links to the shooters have sparked a sharp security increase in the European country.
Belgian authorities have arrested three people they say drove Mr. Abdeslam out of Paris and in Brussels and three other suspects, who deny having any connection with Mr. Abdeslam.
Belgium’s King Philippe delivered a pre-recorded annual Christmas message Thursday, in which he addressed the attacks and the relationship of the attackers to Belgium.
Not less than 130 people had been put to death by the terrorists in attacks that took place outside the stadium and at a concert hall and restaurants and bars.
The Paris attacks were claimed by the Islamic State jihadist group.

The two Belgians arrived in Paris at 6am the day after the massacre and picked up Abdeslam at an address where he was hiding.
