Bryan Cranston Becomes Lyndon B. Johnson in ‘All the Way’ Trailer

Despite his notorious role as Walter White in Breaking Bad, actor Bryan Cranston refuses to be typecast and continues to exhibit his talent as an actor in the trailer for HBO’s All The Way. The first trailer for the film which chronicles the struggle of the accidental president, working as hard as he can to fill the empty presidential shoes left behind by the belovedJohn F. Kennedy.

Multi-awarded actor Bryan Cranston will once again show his skills as he will play the role of the late President Lyndon B. Johnson in the upcoming HBO film titled All the Way.

“You’re not running for office, you’re running for your life”, Cranston says as the new commander in chief. Also starring are Melissa Leo as Lady Bird Johnson and Bradley Whitford as Hubert Humphrey. The story has previously been told on Broadway, where Cranston already won a Tony Award back in 2012. Richard Russell, one of the most vocal opponents of the Civil Rights Act.

Directed by Jay Roach, the TV movie is adapted from the original stage play by the playwright himself, Robert Schenkkan. Steven Spielberg, Robert Schenkkan, Jay Roach, Bryan Cranston, Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey are the executive producers. The made-for-cable biopic will air exclusively on HBO starting Saturday, May 21 at 8:00pm.
