Rajya Sabha member Narendra Kashyap was on Thursday arrested after her wife, Himani Kashyap, was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Ghaziabad early on Wednesday morning.

Their boy Sagar, who’s target Himanshi’s spouse, was imprisoned whilst the authorities have discovered’ facie’ complicity of the group within the death situation, police authorities said. Of the six accused, three have been arrested.
Himanshi’s father and former state minister Hira Lal Kashyap threatened that if the BSP parliamentarian was not arrested, he would commit suicide in front of parliament.
Narendra Kashyap will also be arrested once he is discharged from hospital, the news agency said.
SHO Kavinagar Ashok Shishodia stated that a-team of government physicians was constituted to look at his spouse and the MP to find out when they really require attention.
Sagar Kashyap was arrested from the residence, the official added.
Himanshi was married to Sagar for three years now and they also have a one-year-old son. “If action is not taken against those guilty and my daughter is denied justice, I and my family will immolate ourselves before Parliament”, Hiralal Kashyap told reporters after performing the last rites of his daughter here. The complaint was filed by Om Prakash, Himani’s uncle. In the FIR, he alleged that her in-laws were demanding an SUV after the marriage was solemnised.
“We have registered a criminal case on charges of causing dowry death and cruelty under the Indian Penal Code and under the Dowry Prohibition Act”, a police officer said.

The incident came to light after police were alerted by a local hospital that the body of a woman, who died of a gunshot wound, had been brought there.
