BSP workers abuse also deserves condemnation, but not from BJP

Commenting on the charges that the BSP leaders raised slogans asking the expelled BJP leader to “present his daughter and sister”, Siddiqui said that his party workers “only wanted to “ask them if they agreed with the derogatory remarks made by him against Mayawati”.
In a statement issued to media, state BJP chief Keshav Prasad Maurya demanded that Mayawati should have dismissed Nasimuddin Siddiqui as leader of opposition in Vidhan Parishad taking cognizance of misconduct which happened on behest of Siddiqui.
He said proper IPC sections were not slapped in the FIR filed by Singhs family member in this regard.
An FIR has been filed by suspended BJP lawmaker Dayashankar Singh’s family against BSP supremo Mayawati accusing her of intimidation and promoting enmity.
Besides, it was chose to take out Tiranga march up to booth level from August 16 to mark 70 years of countrys independence.
“But the Bharatiya Janata Party condemns the use of derogatory language against Dayashankar Singh’s daughter and sister during the protests on 21st (July 21) under the directions of Mayawati”, he added.
Siddiqui who yesterday led the protest said that the administration had assured arrest of Singh within 36 hours and if it was not done the party workers would not remain silent.
The Economic Times quoted Singh’s wife Swati Singh as saying, “What my husband said may have been wrong and he apologised”.
On the basis of Tetra Devi’s complaint, an FIR was lodged against Mayawati, state unit president Ram Achal Rajbhar, national general secretary Naseemuddin and national secretary Mevalal besides unknown workers, police said.
The officer said that police is looking for Dayashankar Singh against whom BSP had lodged an FIR.
Balia Superintendent of Police Manoj Kumar Jha said that their efforts to locate and nab Singh would continue.
After his remarks created furore across the country, the BJP expelled him from the party for six years.

Mayawati on her part said Dayashankar’s mother, daughter or wife should have condemned what he said but they maintained silence. Dayashankar’s mother Tetra Devi filed a complaint against the BSP leaders for raising “derogatory” slogans at the party protest in Lucknow.
