The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have placed guard J.R. Sweezy and wide receiver Louis Murphy on the Physically Unable to Perform/Reserve list, which will cause hem to miss the first six weeks of the 2016 National Football League season.

The designation of both Murphy and Sweezy to the PUP list should come to no surprise for fans.

Th Redskins reached the 75-player maximum for this point in the preseason Tuesday with a number of roster moves.

As a result, neither player will be eligible to take part in a game until Week Seven, when the Buccaneers take on the San Francisco 49ers. That’s five games, as the Bucs have a bye in week six. Given the fact that that happened, they’re not exactly likely to make it onto the team’s 53-man roster.

The other 15 preseason games for the week of the preseason are scheduled for Thursday. George played in 15 games during the 2015 season, primarily on special teams, and contributed six kick-coverage stops.

The moves were not unexpected – Sweezy, who had surgery for a herniated disc in his back, hasn’t practiced since signing with the Bucs in March, while Murphy is still recovering from ACL surgery to his knee in November.
