Bucks’ Khris Middleton to undergo surgery for torn hamstring
Milwaukee Bucks guard Khris Middleton suffered a left hamstring injury in preseason workouts that will require surgery, General Manager John Hammond announced Wednesday, September 21st.

He could miss a significant portion of the season and a final timetable will be set after surgery, sources said.
Middleton, a second-round pick in the 2012 NBA Draft by Detroit has significantly improved his game every season.
The 6-foot-8, 234-pound sharpshooter averaged 18.2 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game for the Bucks in 2015-16.
When the Milwaukee Bucks begin training camp on Tuesday in Madison, they will do so without starting guard Khris Middleton. He was also a huge key in their floor spacing and finished the year with a 39.6 percent clip from three-point range. He’s coming off the best season of his career and was easily the Bucks’ second best player during last season. With Middleton on the sidelines for the forseeable future, look for the Bucks to rely even more on their young tandem of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jabari Parker offensively.

No matter what way you cut it, the Bucks are going to struggle without their leading scorer.
