Budweiser to rename itself “America” till US Presidential Election season lasts
Is the label change part of Budweiser’s campaign to finally take on China’s global beer brand leaders and become the sole successful beer brand across the world nations? Belgian corporation Anheuser-Busch InBev makes Budweiser, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the taste of chilled America in a can.
The appeal to patriotic drinkers will run from May 23 through the election season in November, and a TV spot showing the revamped packaging will launch June 1, according to the report. “[To] build on each brand’s distinct image and consumer positioning”.

Trump’s America is coming for us all, his “populist” drivel seeping into even our most sacred, apolitical rituals: Drinking beer. Tastes have changed several times, and each change has pushed Budweiser further down on America’s list.
Anheuser-Busch was purchased by InBev in 2008. One of the cans the beer comes in features stars and stripes in the classically American red, white and blue color palette.
