Buescher wins at Pocono for first career Sprint Cup victory
Seven laps later, an eerie fog began engulfing the track in turn one and moved over turn two. Initially, the drivers were required to stay buckled inside the auto. Claiming his first NASCAR Sprint Cup Series victory in the front row motorsports floor. With veteran crew chief Bob Osborne calling the shots, Buescher and his crew rooted for the rain and fog to stick around.

Buescher added that the victory might take a while to sink in. After leading 16 laps, Truex blew a right front tire three different times. That hairy moment saved the alternately sunny and overcast day for Buescher.
Bad fog meant good news for Chris Buescher as the Sprint Cup rookie won Monday’s rain-delayed race at Pocono Raceway. “We got a super-fast auto especially in Turn 3”, Dillon said during the red flag.
Buescher has quietly been part of the high-profile rookie class that includes Chase Elliott and Ryan Blaney, both sons of former Sprint Cup drivers. As he attempted to save his truck, he skidded up the racetrack, slamming into Reddick, putting an end to any chance either driver had at competing for a win.
Brad Keselowski finished second followed by Regan Smith, Kevin Harvick and Tony Stewart.
“Besides that it was relatively quiet on the radio”.
Take a look at a few winners and losers from Monday. In 2012, he won four races on the way to the ARCA title.
Bush is a 10-year National Football League veteran who played five games with the 49ers last year before suffering a season-ending left knee injury when he slipped on the bare concrete bordering the Edward Jones Dome field in St. Louis. With ostensibly greater resources, Trevor Bayne, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., and Greg Biffle now are winless and outside the top 16 in points.
Still, even with increased support, Front Row is no Roush Fenway and its deficiencies would limit just what to expect out Buescher. He was doused with beer and water in a makeshift victory lane celebration inside a garage stall, his Ford covered on rainy pit road instead of bathed in confetti. If Buescher can catch David Ragan for 30th in the next five races, he would displace Larson (currently 15th), who holds the final entry spot by virtue of points.
“I’ve never seen where we had to throw the caution because we physically could not see from the tower, nor could the spotters”, said Steve O’Donnell, NASCAR senior vice president and chief racing development officer. “We just need to keep clicking off these top-15 finishes”.
Igdalsky said there was a Jeff Gordon bump in ticket sales when the retired four-time champion came back to drive for the injured Dale Earnhardt Jr.
Martin Truex Jr. started the race on the pole and led the first 16 laps before Keselowski and Biffle stayed out to assume the top-two positions in the running order during a lap 16 competition caution.
Elliott finished 33rd and still remains above the cutline for the playoffs, 45 points to the good – even with finishes outside the top 10 in the last six races of the season.
Whether you like him or not, Kyle Busch’s win at the Brickyard 400 last weekend was, simply put, impressive. Kasey Kahne, Bayne, Blaney and Earnhardt are in that group. The NASCAR legend who has won 93 races in his career also has the most wins all-time in Pocono history with six.
