Buffalo Bills offensive line coach Aaron Kromer suspended 6 games after beach

Kromer and his son Zachery were charged with battery after Aaron was accused of punching a boy in the face and threatened to kill his family over beach chairs last month.

Barring further punishment from the NFL, Kromer will make his return to the sidelines October. 25, when the Bills take on the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Following the incident, the Bills placed Kromer on paid administrative leave.

The labor that Kromer was happy to continue this week will be interrupted again on Labor Day when he begins a six-week suspension at the start of the regular season.

On July 12, Kromer was arrested for misdemeanor assault after allegedly pushing and striking a child at a beach in Florida.

Bills President Russ Brandon announced the suspension Sunday night.

“Over the past several weeks the Bills organization has gathered information regarding the incident involving Offensive Line Coach Aaron Kromer”. “We labored together with the NFL on this matter and we’re extremely supportive of the NFL Private Conduct Coverage that holds all NFL membership staff to a better normal”.

The charges against Kromer in the case were dropped late last week as the two sides agreed to an amicable settlement. “We made a statement as an organization so I’m not going to add a whole lot to that”, said Ryan.

“It’s a privilege to coach in this league”, said Ryan.

The Bills offensive linemen have consistently praised assistant line coach Kurt Anderson for picking up the slack in Kromer’s absence.

“He came to me and wanted to help this team out in any way”, said Ryan. Kromer had previously served as the Chicago Bears’ offensive coordinator.
