Brendon played the character Xander in the long running show “Buffy The Vampire Slayer”.

The woman, who has not been named, told officers she had gone to the hotel to meet Brendon in order to return a few property to him, but when she attempted to leave he became violent, taking her auto keys off her and throwing her phone into the street when she tried to call for help.

Nicholas Brendon is clearly not very happy with what the headlines are saying about him at this time. He was released from jail Thursday after posting a $20,000 bond.

Back in June, Brendon announced on his social media pages that he had entered a treatment program.

Bob Jillson, investigations lieutenant at Saratoga Springs Police Department, told the magazine: “Last night around 11.30pm, we got called to a nice family-owned hotel in town for a reported domestic disturbance”.

Police officials in New York have confirmed the troubled actor was taken into custody on Wednesday after a domestic dispute with a partner at a hotel in Saratoga Springs.

Though police made contact no arrest was made.

The actor’s most recent arrest came in May, when he was picked up for public intoxication.

Then in February 2015, Brendon was arrested again by Fort Lauderdale by police for allegedly destroying his hotel room, while he also refused to pay the bill.

The former Buffy star was found by an officer in soiled pyjamas and struggling to walk.

“It sounds like it went downhill from there”, Jillson said.

This is just the latest of several legal run-ins for Brendon.

On Monday Nicholas Brendon took to Twitter to reveal that he had “anxiety”, while his posts have also detailed his fight with depression.
