Bugatti Chiron Promises to be the World’s Fastest, Most Powerful Car
Finally breaking silence over the name of their next supercar, Bugatti confirmed today that it is indeed the Chiron. Bugatti have also taken the step of confirming that the Chiron will be ready for its official unveil at the Geneva Motor Show 2015. Rumors of the Chiron name first emerged a year ago but Bugatti has remained tight on the name of the auto until now.

Reports suggest that the Chiron could be powered by a redesigned version of the W16 engine that was used in the Veyron, with output figures being quoted at around 1,500 BHP. As per the French manufacturer, they have received incredible response as over 100 customers have already booked the Chiron, despite no one having driven the vehicle yet.
The name Chiron was chosen in dedication to Bugatti’s most successful racing driver, Louis Chiron, who won a large percentage of Grand Prix races for the marque in the ’20s and ’30s. Bugatti claims the brief for the new auto was simple – ‘Make the best significantly better’. It was reported that the new Chiron Targa will be coming in with a removable roof panel made with carbon fiber.
While we have seen what appears to be the Chiron out on test drives, Bugatti has been very quiet on its new model. The Chiron is described by Bugatti as the world’s most powerful, fastest, most luxurious and most exclusive production super sports vehicle in history.
Only 450 units are said to be built, and 100 have already been ordered, and are filling up fast. “This is the claim of Bugatti and our customers”.
The Chiron is believed to get 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels teamed up with tailor-made Michelin Pilot Sport PAX tires.

Few details have been provided about the auto, but Bugatti’s 1627bhp Vision Gran Turismo concept does give a clue as to some of its design cues.
