Building Collapse Involving Uptown Dallas Parking Garage
A partial collapse of a seven-story parking garage on Friday apparently neither caused injuries nor trapped anyone, according to media reports and rescue workers. As of Friday night, they determined no on was hurt. Garage cameras didn’t indicate anyone inside the vehicles within the collapse zone, Evans said, but property management was still in the process of making sure all residents were accounted for.

“It sounded like a plane crash”, one resident told CBS11 News.
An NBC 5 viewer, Ela, shared a photo of the top floor of the 7-story parking garage that shows a large hole spanning several parking spaces. According to resident Nick Parrillo, a pile of concrete rubble was left on a deck near where the collapse happened.
“My auto is damaged, there’s cement all over it, and there’s a huge hole where there was cars”, Bruce said.
Turtle Creek Boulevard between Cedar Spring and Hall Street remains closed in both directions with police and fire rescue crews on the scene.
