Ranked eighth, Singapore is the lone Asian country in the top 10 with a score of 85.
Thailand scored 38 points and was ranked in 76th position globally, just making it into the top 50 percent of countries. The CPI 2015 showed that people working together can succeed in the battle against corruption.

The US rose one spot to 16th with a score of 76, tying with Austria.
In contrast, European nation Denmark is seen as the least corrupt country out of the 168 indexed, retaining the top spot for a second year in a row with a score of 91.
