Bullet-riddled body of Hizbul Mujahideen militant found in Kashmir
The injured three-year old son, Burhan, succumbed to his injuries on Saturday (September 19) morning.

Bullet-riddled body of a Hizbul Mujahideen militant was found in a jungle on Saturday in north Kashmir, with police suspecting the hand of break-away Hizb faction Lashkar-e-Islam (LeI). However, his minor son, who received shots in abdomen, was referred to SKIMS in critical condition.
Sensing trouble, Bhat tried to escape with his son but the militants opened fire with their automatic guns injuring him and his child, the police said.
SDPO said both injured were rushed to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Sopore, where doctors declared Bashir as brought dead.
Reports said immediately after the attack, security forces launched a manhunt to nab the assailants.Such mysterious killings have become common in militancy hub Sopore in the last few months.
