Joakim Noah has likely played his last game in a Chicago Bulls uniform.
This season likely is over for Noah after he suffered a dislocated shoulder Friday against the Dallas Mavericks.
The Bulls knew that Noah would be forced to miss some time, they just were not sure how much time.
The Bulls really needed a rejuvenated Noah to be a credible threat to Cleveland. Not only did Noah have offseason knee surgery, but he spent most of the 2014-15 campaign hobbled and his production dipped a bit, as he averaged 7.2 points and 9.6 rebounds per outing in 67 appearances.

Since Chicago owns the Bird Rights for the big duo, a team that trades for them will have the opportunity to re-sign them over the summer. “Knowing how hard he works, how hard he wants to be on the court, how much he means to the team”. With the Bulls already looking to move on from Noah prior to the injury, this all but seals his fate in Chicago, according to the Chicago Tribune. The rookie’s production has been uneven since Noah’s return, in part because of uneven minutes, in part because Portis has landed on scouting reports now. “I’ve said that all along”, Noah said.
“If you allow him to get depth on you, he’s very effective, ” Gasol said. I truly think he’s one of the smartest players in this league, and he’s always coming over, he’s giving us suggestions on what we can do. “The guards are going to have to go in there and hit bodies and try to help on the glass”. Of the 10 times he has played 35 or more minutes, five have come when Noah was sidelined. He will become an unrestricted free agent after the season.
