Bundesliga Defender’s Move To Chelsea ‘Imminent’
Chelsea have had a £17.7million bid for Augsburg full-back Baba Rahman rejected, according to reports.

The fact that Rahman has already allegedly agreed personal terms with the Premier League outfit suggests that they are close to nearing a deal for the player.
The Ghanaian left-back has been heavily linked with a move to Jose Mourinho’s side and speculation has increased since the Portuguese coach allowed Filipe Luis to leave the club last month.
Chelsea are expected to pay an initial £14-million, with add-ons of up to £6-million should he play more than 100 matches, reports The Guardian.
Augsburg, who recorded their highest-ever finish of fifth in the Bundesliga last season, completed the purchase of a replacement for Rahman last week in the form of Philipp Max from Karlsruhe.
Chelsea are believed to have agreed terms with player himself earlier in the week, but have yet to come to an agreement with his club.
Chelsea were alerted to Rahman’s promise by their former manager Avram Grant, who coaches Ghana.
The left-back featured in Augsburg’s 3-1 DFB-Pokal win over SV Elversberg on Friday, but should seal a move to Chelsea in the coming days with the Blues set to up their offer.
