Bundy Sues Judge In Nevada Standoff Case, Wants Her Removed

Not wanting to engage in a shootout with civilians, the BLM made a decision to back off. It wasn’t until earlier this year that Bundy was finally arrested when the disgraced rancher was on his way to be by the side of his son, Ammon Bundy, who had helped occupy the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in rural Burns, Oregon.

The request from nine organizations in a letter sent on Monday to the U.S. Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has the potential to increase tensions in the debate over federal control over vast areas in the West. “I respect judges, and I think they have a right to make their decisions, but these judges are not listening to us, and they’re leaving Cliven in solitary confinement for no reason whatsoever”.

“In short, defendant Navarro has shown her true intentions and bias and prejudice, rising to the level of denying Sixth Amendment right of counsel and to a speedy trial to plaintiff Bundy, following the “marching orders” of her benefactors, defendants Harry Reid and Obama”, attorney Joel Hansen alleges in the complaint.

For more than 20 years, Bundy had refused to pay grazing fees to the federal government, arguing that the US Bureau of Land Management had no authority to regulate ranchers and that his cattle should be able to roam freely on public lands. The lawsuit demands Bundy’s release from solitary confinement and the dismissal of his indictment. “Bundy, his sons and their believers have endangered the lives of federal officers, have defaced and damaged public lands and squandered public resources for their own benefit”.

While commending the agency for withdrawing from the 2014 standoff with the Bundys’ armed supporters, the environmentalist groups noted that the situation has changed since.

Angie Bundy, Ryan Bundy’s wife, said an effort to raid the ranch’s cattle would not be a surprise. Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) and federal District Court Judge Gloria Navarro of violating his constitutional rights, as well as Reid’s son, ex-Clark County Commission chair Rory Reid. It claims the plan was to get Bundy to reduce his herd from 1,000 to 150, which Bundy said would not be viable and would force his family off the land. She cites ongoing disciplinary proceedings against Klayman in Washington.

The judge said she’ll decide that question if she remains on the case.

During his correspondents” dinner monologue, Obama said: “Michelle and I watched the Olympics – we can not believe what these folks do – death-defying feats – haven’t seen somebody pull a “180′ like that fast since Rand Paul disinvited that Nevada rancher from this dinner”. He assaulted multiple people inside the store before running to a Bertucci’s restaurant and stabbing two people, including a 56-year-old man who later died.
