Bungie shifts focus to sequel as Rise of Iron DLC launch nears

The new expansion, Rise of Iron, has also sparked interest in the game and is now tracking ahead of the previous expansion. The rest of the team is assumed to be working on the finishing touches for “Rise of Iron” DLC, CinemaBlend reported.

The original “Destiny” video game will also be receiving a number of updates within the year, including some that will mark the return of “Festival of the Lost” and the “Sparrow Racing” league.

Bungie has often noted that how hard it is to increase the vault space in Destiny. One factor that always appeared to make it hard was to make the feature work on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

The focus of the developer in the recent months was mainly on the final downloadable content for “Destiny”, which is called Rise of Iron. So some fans were expecting that the vault size will increase substantially, but that is not the case.

“We did not”, Bungie said in response to a question about whether they scheduled the maintenance when they did to boost stream viewership. It is also expected that there won’t be a lot of updates about “Destiny 2” in the coming days because Activision will be focusing on making sure the spotlight will be on the DLC, which releases this September 20 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 only.

In addition to new maps for Crucible, Rise of Iron comes with new gear, a new raid, and more quests, among other things. Players will be able to get this weapon in different ways, one way to get this weapon is by periodically finding weapon parts for this rifle like last year’s Sleeper Simulant.
