The company announced that the “Grilled Dog” will be available for purchase starting February 23.

Grilled Dogs are available in both the Classic Grilled Dog and the Chili Cheese Grilled Dog.

It’s the most significant menu expansion for the second-biggest US burger chain since it added a chicken sandwich in the 1970s, said Alex Macedo, the company’s North American president.

“It’s the most obvious product launch ever”, he said. “Unfortunately for BK employees, Snoop’s title of “Grilled Dogs Training Ambassador” is only ceremonial…so don’t get too excited for smoke breaks”, it concludes.

Burger King will add two types of dogs to its permanently menu: a classic grilled dog and a chili cheese dogs.

At $1.99, it’s a quality frank that, should I be craving a hot dog, I would purchase again. There are chances that prices may vary according to locations. That will have 310 calories.

The dish is the same beef dog as the classic, topped with warm chilli and shredded cheddar cheese, and costs $2.29.

“We’re not seeing grilled dogs as a product launch”, says Macedo. After finding that sales exceeded targets, the chain has chose to go nationwide. In recent times McDonald’s started offering all day long breakfast items making a big impact on its sales and Wendy’s offered a “4 for $ 4” deal to attract customers.

Would you eat a hot dog from Burger King?

The chain has the most US stores of all other fast food chains. Burger King ultimately decided on relish, chopped onions, mustard and ketchup. The company has even tested table service in some markets, reports CNN.

Fast food chain Sonic also sells hot dogs, but they have a lot of varieties.
