Miami-based Burger King will start selling Chicken Fries coated in Cheetos on September 14, for a limited time, the company said Monday.
The burger giant will offer its Chicken Fries covered in crispy Cheetos-flavored breading for a limited time. Ad Age has not yet tasted the product, but has been told that diners will not get that telltale orange residue on their fingers that comes with eating a bag of Cheetos.
2016 has proven to be a transitional year for the company, as Burger King has launched a slate of experimental, new products including a Whopper-burrito hybrid, as well as a decadent Meatatarian menu overseas. Expect Cheetos Chicken Fries at the fast food restaurant on Wednesday, which will sell of $2.89 for a nine-piece meal.

Just 73 new beef items were introduced during the same time period – perhaps not a surprising trend given the trend of rising beef prices.
