Burglar Falls Through A Roof After Trying To Rob An ATM
Now here is something that you don’t hear every day. Turns, out a burglar tried to break into a bank in San Francisco and when he failed he tried to escape. In order to make good his escape, the burglar jumped onto the roof of a house and fell straight inside the house. He was then handed over to the police. Talk about bad karma.

If you are wondering how the burglar fell through the roof and into the house, this quote by police Sgt. Wilfred Williams should give you the answer: “There was a hole in the roof where he fell through just as we were ordering him to put his hands up. I’ve responded to several different silent alarm calls at banks, but this is the first time when someone fell through a roof.”
The whole incident can be termed nothing short of hilarious and probably it will teach this burglar such a lesson that he won’t ever again try to rob. Reportedly, the 230 pound burglar was badly hurt due to the fall, which is to be expected if one weighs as much as this burglar does and especially when one isn’t prepared for the fact that they would fall through a roof. The authorities have revealed that the burglar tried to pry open an ATM with a crowbar 3:45 am. He was obviously unsuccessful and also managed to sound off the alarm. It seems like it wasn’t a good day to be a burglar.
To the burglar’s credit, he did manage to make his way into the bank via a ventilation shaft, but little did he know that doing this resulted in a silent alarm being sounded. The cops were immediately on the alert and landed up at the bank. It is on seeing the cops arrive that the man made a run for it and landed up on the roof in a bid to escape. The authorities had to alert the fire department to so a ladder truck could be brought in and the burglar could be pursued. After the man was spotted on the roof he tried to give himself up, which is when he fell through the roof.

Authorities have confirmed that the burglar did not manage to steal any money. Surely, the man is now cursing his stars and wondering why he didn’t stay in bed and get some sleep instead.
